Mortal Kombat II

Not a bad compilation:
Many game compilations look cool and you say to yourself I have to buy this with all of these games that use to be good. Then we you actually play them its not that great. However, Midway Arcade Treasures 2 is definitely one to get. I got it for Mortal Komabt II and 3 alone, but there are other great games on it. For only 20 bucks you get those two plus more.

Games that are worth playing:
Some of the games here I could care less about. Many of them being the ones made before 1990. IM not a big fan of just moving a spaceship around and shooting aliens. The games that I think are worth playing would be Mortal Kombat II and 3, NARC, Primal Rage, Gauntlet II, and Rampage World Tour.

NARC

Games that are not worth playing:
Though this is a great compilation there are still some games that really aren't that fun anymore. They may have been back in the day but for now, who cares. Xenophobe is kind of annoying. You just walk around and shoot at these aliens, not a whole lot of fun there. hard Drivin' looks really cool when I was going to play it because it was 3D. Then when I got into it the controls are pretty bad and its never really smooth sailing at all. Then there are some games where you really need the old arcade joysticks to play. Wacko is a good example as well as Kozmik Krooz'r. There just to difficult to play with a regular controller.

Cyberball 2072

Great content on here:
A few of the games have videos about how they were made and what inspired them to make it. Mortal Kombat II and 3 probably have the most to look at. All of the games however show images of the games being advertised for arcade owners to buy, as well as the history of the game. They tell when it came out, how big the cabinet was, how big was it in the arcades, and more stuff like that. I just wish the put more videos in it about the other games.

Primal Rage

Last Word:
Well for starters its only 20 bucks. I would get it just for Mortal Kombat II and 3 right there, but you get even more. Its a great bargain and a good way to bring back those old school memories.

The Bottom Line:

Gameplay: 7.0

Games are easy to play and get into but some of them are to difficult with the regular controller.

Graphics: N/A

Well the looked good when the came out, but compared to today you really can not rate it.

Sound: 8.5

Many of them sound great and other just are beep beep, boop, zap..

Depth: 7.0

You will play some of them, then grow tired of them quickly. However there are so many games on here it will take you awhile. Plus beating Mortal Kombat II is really hard.

Overall: 8.2
